Flat, rolled or lined leather: what changes on a lead
Smart Wag leather leads are made of half-oiled leather, with a handle. The training lead, Xtra, Cling and Doggy use flat leather. Holly stands out with rolled leather, matched to the collar of the same name.
Xtra, Cling and Doggy add a leather lining: more comfort in the hand for a large dog that pulls. The width is not stated on the product pages; for a very small or very large dog, ask the workshop.
The Bio Fluo is not leather: a washable synthetic with a grained leather look. New leather, dry and stiff, softens with colourless leather oil on a clean cloth. Avoid glycerine soap and let it dry for a day in the shade. The table above takes you back to the right model.

A lead for training and recall
The multi-position training lead adjusts over three rings thanks to its two snap hooks. At 110 cm, it moves from heel work to more freedom.
A lead for showing at a competition or a sale
To show a dog, the Cling lead with its silver-coloured motif answers the Clinsher collar. The black Doggy lead carries brass dog motifs.
A fluorescent lead for low-visibility outings
The Bio Fluo lead replaces leather with a light, washable and waterproof synthetic material. Its fluorescent colour suits hunting and poorly lit outings.
Personalisation: the engraving goes on the collar
No Smart Wag lead is engraved or personalised in the configurator. A personalised dog lead comes through a personalised leather collar with an engraved plate, or an engraved tag or nameplate.

Start from the use. In leather, count on 105 cm (Xtra), 110 cm (training, Cling, Doggy) or 120 cm (Holly). The training lead adjusts over three rings; the Bio Fluo comes in 150 or 250 cm.
Can a Smart Wag lead be engraved?
No. No lead is engraved or personalised online. Personalised engraving goes on the matching collar, on a plate or a tag, following the engraving guide.
