A PASSION FOR SPORT
Before becoming a brand dedicated to horses and equestrian sport, Smart Wag was the project of a sports enthusiast. Its founder, Arnaud Perrier, trained as an automotive engineer and worked for renowned outdoor-sports companies before turning to entrepreneurship and creating Smart Wag.
That sporting DNA remains firmly rooted in the brand today. Our ambition is to provide equine and human athletes with equipment that supports them in their pursuit of performance.
CUSTOMISATION AND COMFORT
Good communication with a horse depends on equipment that inspires confidence and feels comfortable. That is why comfort and adaptability are central to every Smart Wag design.
Our products form a link between horse and rider, so they are designed to avoid unwanted interference. Both halters and bridles offer a broad range of adjustments and are shaped to suit many equine anatomies.
We continually develop products informed by advances in equine welfare. Because every horse is unique, personalisation is both practical and meaningful: the finishing touch that reflects our craftsmanship.
OUR COMMITMENTS
Durable products: our products are designed to last and remain at your side for as long as possible. With appropriate use and care, they will serve you for years.
Repair and reuse: repairing and reusing are better than throwing away. Wherever possible, our products are designed to be repairable. On our lead ropes, only the snap hook needs replacing if the original one fails. Some halter headpieces can be replaced after a natural breakage, for example if a horse falls or pulls back, and personalisation plates on halters, bridles and collars can also be changed. Discover our “Second Life” selection, where photo-shoot samples, end-of-line items and products with minor cosmetic imperfections are given a second life.
Listening and adviceOur products are designed by riders, for riders. They are tested and approved before being put on the market. We make it a point of honour to listen to our customers and their needs in order to develop future collections and revise the design of existing products.
MEET US
Smart Wag is available online and at numerous equestrian events across Europe. Reflecting our Swiss roots, the Smart Wag workshop attends international competitions in Switzerland, including the CHI Geneva. Our teams also travel throughout France for major sporting events and trade shows.
