Little is a leather foal headcollar with a headpiece adjustable on both sides and an adjustable noseband. These adjustments accommodate growth while the headcollar still fits the foal’s head. The FOAL size does not guarantee a fit from birth to weaning for every foal.

Birth: the first fitting
A newborn does not automatically need a headcollar. When a first fitting is needed, ask an experienced handler to check it. A headcollar that remains too large at its smallest setting is unsuitable. Do not tighten it further to compensate for an unsuitable shape.
Weaning: allowing more room
Check the buckles, headpiece and noseband each time you use the headcollar. Adjust to the growth you observe, not a fixed date. If a strap presses or rubs despite adjustment, stop using the headcollar and have its fit checked.
Around one year: Little’s size limit
