The licol en cuir Ador has been designed to ensure the comfort of your horse when in hand but also when tethered.
An adaptable halter
For greater adaptability and ease of use, the Ador customisable leather halter has:
- Adjustable headrest on both sides.
- Adjustable noseband.
- A detachable throat latch (can be fitted on the left or right side) for easy removal of the halter.
The Ador custom halter is available in several colours of leather and buckles:
- Brown leather, silver buckles.
- Black leather, gold buckles.

The Ador by Smart Wag leather halter can be personalised free of charge with a personalised plaque matching the colour of the buckle.

Below is a table of Smart Wag halter measurements. To be sure of your choice, we advise you to take your horse's measurements. In the event of a size error, your halter can be exchanged while stocks last.

For a new leather :
Un matériel d’équitation en cuir neuf dispose encore de toute son humidité naturelle et n’a pas besoin d’être réhydraté avec du savon glycériné. Vous pouvez cependant assouplir un cuir un peu rigide avant l’usage avec un baume ou une crème pour le cuir.
You can then leave to dry for a day in a temperate place in the shade.
For leather that has already been used:
Remove dust daily with a damp cloth.
Vous pouvez nettoyer toutes les 3 à 4 semaines votre licol avec un savon glyceriné doux ( composition non détergente) ou légèrement imbibé de crème incolore pour le cuir. Afin de garantir la longévité de votre cuir, nous vous conseillons de conserver votre licol en cuir dans son pochon en coton Smart Wag, dans un endroit sec, à l’abris du soleil.
Condition of product on receipt : le laiton des boucleries peut réagir à l’humidité. Il arrive que les boucleries arrivent ainsi légèrement grisées. Un entretien avec un produit de type Miror© permet de leur redonner leur éclat en quelques secondes. Le cuir des matelassures est à mémoire de forme. Il peut arriver légèrement déformé mais prendra sa forme adéquat sur un portant adapté ( arrondi).
