To facilitate your reunion, a personalized dog collar with a plate or a medal allows you to put your phone number or your dog's name on it.\u00a0 It's much more practical to allow people who cross your dog to contact you.<\/p>\n

How to care for your SmartWag custom dog collar?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

For a new leather collar:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

A new leather still has all its natural moisture and does not need to be rehydrated with glycerine soap.
\nOn the contrary, this maintenance product could alter the colour of leathers having a natural finish (aniline), especially the brown or havana leathers.
\nBut new leather is naturally dry stiff and must be softened before its first use. You can then apply a colourless leather oil to the back and top of the leather with a clean cloth. The oil will penetrate into the heart of the leather to soften it.
\nIf your leather still feels too stiff, do not hesitate to repeat the application until it becomes soft enough.
\nYou can then leave to dry for a day in a temperate and shady place. This will preserve your leather longer and give it a beautiful patina.<\/p>\n

For leather that has already been used:<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

To maintain your leather dog collar, first remove dust with a damp sponge. You can then apply a degreasing lotion to clean the material thoroughly. It is important not to feed the leather without first cleaning it properly.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, you can coat your collar with leather oil or grease, which will make the leather supple again.<\/p>\n

Important note: It is important to let the leather dry at room temperature before applying an oil. After each step, avoid leaving your leather to dry in direct sunlight, as this may cook the leather and damage it.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
